Gladys is a licensed cosmetologist who also works as a makeup artist for film. The two jobs sharpen each other, one teaches you what skin does under pressure, the other teaches you how to fix it.
The candles collection grew naturally from the same philosophy behind the spa - creating intentional moments of comfort and self care.

— Why I do this
My passion for waxing started with my own insecurity. A family member once asked why my legs didn’t look smooth like his girlfriend’s. Shaving left my skin irritated, and I was self-conscious about it for years.
Waxing changed that. My skin got healthier, and I felt a confidence I hadn’t had before. That’s the whole reason I do this, not only to remove hair or perform a facial, but so you leave feeling more confident than when you arrived.
I’ve been licensed since 2013 and I still work on film sets. I moved to Port St. Lucie in 2021 to do this full time. What I care about most is that the room is comfortable and no one ever feels judged in it.

The story behind the name comes from
— Candles crafted with care
My mother told me about three travelers — Love, Health and Wealth — A family was told they could welcome only one into their home. The family chose Love - to their surprise, health and wealth followed. Because where Love is welcomed the rest will follow.
The name comes from that parable, it’s how I try to work. Ensuring love is behind everything I do. The flowers pressed into these candles are a homage to the way my father used to bring us flowers for no reason except that someone should know they were loved and thought of.
My mother also compared a life to a candle: once the wick has burned through, it can’t be lit again. Time is finite, spend it with purpose.
